“Wherever the art of maternity is loved, there is also a love of humanity.”
Christina was born and raised in Athens, the capital of Greece, in 1988. In 2010 she graduated from the Midwifery Department of the Alexander Technological University of Thessaloniki. After finishing her studies in midwifery, Christina the following year completed her qualification in 2 expertises, in gynecological surgeries and neonatal intensive care unit.
During the first five years of her working experience, Christina had an active clinical as also managing role in N.I.C.U. ward of a private maternity hospital in Athens. During this period of time, Christina has also been working as a freelance midwife alongside private obstetricians. Since 2015, when Christina relocated to London, she expanded her working experience by rotating as a senior midwife in the Labour Ward, Birth Centre, Triage/Maternity Assessment Unit, Homebirth and Community, in two of the biggest and busiest hospitals in London.
Christina is so passionate about her work as she never stops participating in seminars, webinars, congresses, and training programs. She is actively involved with the education of midwifery students by teaching and assessing them since 2015. At the moment apart from her work role, she is also enriching her knowledge in Fetal Medicine as a Masters’ qualification.
Her colleagues describe Christina as a very good midwife, due to her clinical exposure. She is communicative, efficient, effective, and a liable team worker, always using her friendly approach.
